I am doing a persuasive speech on why students should read classic literature, I was wondering what credentials you have or that I may cite in reference to your comments about why students should read classic literature?

I understand that this response is long past due, as your school semester has come and gone and the assignment completed, but I wanted to at least grant you the dignity of a response. Firstly, I apologize that I was not able to respond in a timely manor. I hope it did not negatively affect your speech. You see, I had been focusing my attention elsewhere at the time, and once I did become aware of your query I didn't even remember how to log on in order to respond. My credentials at the moment are not very extensive in professional circles yet though, so it might not have mattered anyhow. I studied classical and Ancient Near Eastern literature during my undergraduate degree at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, and possess a heightened interest in the subject matter as a personal hobby as well. I am currently working on teacher certification as an English teacher and continue to write free-lance in my off-time for practice and exposure to different clientele.

Probably more information than you need at the moment, but since you took an interest in my article, I wanted to give you a good answer in return.
